Acknowledge An Order

The following steps explain how to acknowledge an order on the Carter mobile app.


Technicians will need to have the Carter mobile app installed on their devices in order to acknowledge orders.


  1. If Carter is already installed on a mobile device, technicians will receive a push notification notifying them that an order has been assigned to them. Additionally, if Carter has not been installed, technicians will acknowledge the order via the My Work Day screen in Step 3.


  2. Login to the Carter app using your username and password.


  3. Navigate to My Work Day via the administration menu on the upper left of the screen to view available orders.

  4. Click on the order to view information.


  5. Review the order details then scroll down and tap on the Tools Required button. Fill out the appropriate fields then press Accept. A checkmark will now appear on the Tools Required button.


  6. Scroll down and tap the Acknowledge Order button. A checkmark will appear on the button once you've acknowledged the order. Be sure to verify the location and start time to ensure you depart on time after acknowledging the order.
