Assign A Technician
The following steps explain how to assign an order to a technician.
Typically technicians are assigned orders during the order's creation. However, orders can be assigned after they are created by executing the following steps.
Login to Carter using your login credentials.
Navigate to the Orders tab.
- Orders that have yet to be assigned will appear on the Ready to Schedule tab. Click on the order you wish to assign.
- Navigate to the Schedule tab. Select a date and time for the order and select a technician by clicking in the Technician field. Alternatively, you may search for a technician by typing in a full or partial name.
- Once a technician has been chosen click Save.
